I’m looking into ways to speed up our application server by using flash based disk caching solution - a combination of PCIe flash card or SSD disk and a special software which makes this flash storage to act as read cache for disk-based external storage array. So far I’ve found two possible solutions - EMC XtremSW and IBM FlashCache, but their caching software seems to support only Red Hat or Oracle Enterprise Linux. Is anyone aware of something similar which supports SLES?
