Kim Groneman, the person at Novell who manages the forums, is asking
people on the Facebook NCC page whether they would rather have the site
there or here or both.
So if you have a preference, speak up. You can do it here, if you don’t
have a Facebook account. And you’re welcome to join the Facebook group
if you haven’t already. : )

Keep them both. Not everyone is on Facebook, and we’ve got a good
community here.

Keep this forum! I have a facebook account…don’t use it…not worth
the time. If the only option for NCC was facebook, I wouldn’t bother
with it.
FB is junk and has a negative stigma in almost every work setting
(except where people use it to harass their friends to buy company
product, and in those cases those businesses also have that same stigma
so they’re in good company).
Long live the forum.

I would never join anything requiring Facebook.
I do have an account, but have not signed on in years and have no
intention on signing on in the next few years…

Novell does not officially monitor these forums.
Suggestions/Opinions/Statements made by me are solely my own.
These thoughts may not be shared by either Novell or any rational human.
Absolutely NOT Facebook! Every organization I’ve worked with has asked
me to block it at their web filter. Also, I have way to many other
things in my life I have to pay attention to without adding Facebook
configuration issues.

Please keep the forums… pretty please.[/color]
The forums (plural) will stay. The question was specifically about this
chat forum (singular).

Do you work with Novell technologies at a university, college or school?
If so, your campus could benefit from joining the Novell Technology
Transfer Partner (TTP) program. See TTP Organization | Micro Focus for more details.
I have Facebook, but don’t do anything work related on it. No work
folks, no work posts, no work anything.
Soo… I wouldn’t use it to do the little participation that I do.
