Improper vNIC identification

OS is deployed in VMWare 6 up 2 virtual machine with 2 vNICs of different type (E1000 and VMXNET3). The detected NICs got their ethX numbers in correct sequence, but the driver doesn’t match the vNIC MAC, assigned by VMWare.

Please, perform the hardware identification more accurately.

What do you mean by “VMWare 6”? I’m guessing version 6 of a VMware
product but which one - Workstation, Player, or ESXi (from screen shots
I’m ruling out Fusion)?

If not ESXi what OS is the host running?

Which OS and version is the guest running? Are VMware (or Open VM) Tools
installed?

HTH.

ESXi. Much accurately: ESXI 6.0.0 build 3620759

SLES 12 SP1, just installed from official ISO.

Just the third-party package, provided with ISO. VMWare reports it as “Running (Guest managed)”.
