Hi, I’m trying to install a sles 11sp4 in vm player, the problem is that it start and don’t stop till the installation ended.
I need to configure the disk space in a different way as it does automatically.
How can I do to run the classical installation that ask me for disk partition and packages to install??
This sounds like a question for the VM software. My guess is that in that
software you select the type of installation it is (SLES 11 something) and
then it does the rest for you, using its own auto-build script or
something. Maybe try just specifying a Genreic Linux type of thing, so
that it does not try to do the thinking for you.

Good luck.

I’ve installed SLES11 SP4 in VMware Player many times and not had this -
at the very beginning make sure you’re choosing the “I will install the
operating system later” option.
Or are you saying that once the SLES install has started you don’t get
to select/change anything … ?
