Installing SLED 12 into Parallels 11 as a VM

Dear all,

I just installed SLED 12 into parallels VM. Does someone has experience with this?

  1. the screen does not cover the complete display (as if the parallels tools are missing…that’s why I am also asking parallels…
  2. the installation does not discover the surrounding mac os keyboard. Therefore it’s difficult to post a @ for example.

If you run the xrandr command in a terminal on the VM, does it off additional resolutions? If so then try xrandr -s x

Keyboards can be fun, so what is it set too if you fire up YaST?
