Is there any chance to install MATE in SLED 12

My question, probably very noob, but still a question.
Is there anyway to install MATE in SLED12, cuz im very very interested in that
perhaps installing in text mode and adding the mate repositories from opensuse 13.1 or 13.2
that would be probably to do?

I don’t understand why you talk about installing in text mode. You could do a normal install then add extra repos and install packages afterwards.

I think openSUSE 13.1 repo is the most likely to work. But I also think there’s a very good change you’ll end up with a horrible mess and/or a machine in state that SUSE wouldn’t support. If you have a requirement for MATE then you SLED 12 is not the distro fo you.
