kernel panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init! exitcode

Hi,

I’m trying to get SLES 12 SP4 running on an ESXi 6.7, attempting to boot the installer disc results in a kernel panic in the guest vm. Please refer to the image below.

Hope you can help me on this.

While I cannot see any image, https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/detail.php?deviceCategory=software&testConfig=16&productid=47205&supRel=369,&deviceCategory=software&details=1&partner=465&releases=369&page=1&display_interval=10&sortColumn=Partner&sortOrder=Asc&testConfig=16 shows that SLES 12 SP4 is supported on ESXi 6.7.

Maybe some of the support details on virtual hardware may be helpful to check if your guest settings are within limits?
