I’m a rancher OS user, increasingly heavily, and recently while browsing a bit on builtroot, I stumbled over the Linux Kernel Tools > cpupower option. https://wiki.archlinux.de/title/Cpupower gives a good description and it seems to be meant to reduce power consumption. When talking about a Infrastructure Linux, like RancherOS, that raised my attention.
I checked on the os-base buildroot configfile, however I could not identify, if this option is activated. Proably, it should. What do you think?
