Some more info on OS version, SP level and what type of applicatioins
and DB vendor + version are running on this server would be good.
In any case it would seem as if there are many files opened which are
not being closed correctly over time. For one, it could be a bug in the
DB software version you are running (if that is the software primarily
running on this system)… so I’d also check for this with your DB
verdor.
