L2TPv3 - Availability

Hi

Does anyone know if we can implement L2TPv3 on a SLES 11 server?

I believe it needs to be enabled in the kernel?

Thanks in advance

Which version of SLES11? On my test SLES11 SP2 server I can “modprobe
l2tp_core” where l2tp_core is one of three L2TP-related modules
available (see “ls /lib/modules/uname -r/kernel/net/l2tp”).

If you want the module(s) to be permanently loaded at server startup add
their name(s) to /etc/modprobe.conf.local.

Now as to whether it handles L2TPv3 I’m not sure.

HTH.
