I’m adding a couple of blacklist drivers to our /etc/modprobe.d/50-blacklist.conf, but it can be over written by updates.
Is there a local equivalent of this file available ? I see a 99-local.conf but I’m not sure this is the correct place to add a blacklist line.
All it says in the file is # please add local extensions to this file so I’m not sure as a blacklist entry is not a extension.
Thanks

You can add your own kernel module-related commands to 99-local.conf so
if you want to blacklist a particular module add ‘blacklist ’ to it.
HTH.
