nu.novell.com having 504

Anyone having this problem as well? It is really annoying I must say. I can’t do much without zypper.
Here is the error I’m getting:
2013-03-12 14:46:37 <1> kitfisto(24678) [zypp++] MediaCurl.cc(doGetFileCopyFile):1369 URL: https://nu.novell.com/repo/repoindex.xml?cookies=0&credentials=NCCcredentials
2013-03-12 14:48:37 <3> kitfisto(24678) [zypp] MediaCurl.cc(doGetFileCopyFile):1433 curl error: 22: The requested URL returned error: 504, temp file size 0 bytes.

Yes, we cannot query the novell repos at all for 2nd day in a row…

Same problem here, noticed it yesterday. Glad to know I’m not the only one…

Hi
My SUSE contacts advised that it should be all working now. Please
advise if not.

I checked from a couple different servers, seems to be working okay now. Thanks!

Thanks malcolmlewis!
Works quite fine. It’s a shame we had to write to this forum to get this done.

In case anyone from novell/suse reading this, don’t you have any monitoring system? (I can help you setup one if you’re interested)

Hi
It was already known and they were fixing when folks started reporting
issues… :wink: I’m just the messenger…

knowing a system is down is certainly a big part of the battle, but
sometimes a broken thing takes more than a couple minutes to fix.
