Pod stuck in removing state

a ghost pod in the system -

Pod: eth-55769d57b9-gpbsk

Removing
Containers with unready status: [eth]

can not force remove it: Error deleting
pods “eth-55769d57b9-gpbsk” not found: undefined

it is not listed anywhere - can not find it with kubectl.

any pointers what can be done?

ok today this pod vanished. still quite annoying and spooky behaviour.
