I’ve installed Prometheus/Grafana following the excellent blog article https://rancher.com/blog/2018/2018-10-18-monitoring-kubernetes/…
A couple of things left out though:
- I’d like to specify type Loadbalancer rather than nodeport so if the host system with the node ip is down we can still see performance metrics. Not sure where in the Catalog Apps launch process I’d specify that.
- I’d like to import a dashboard from Grafana, but I see nowhere in the installed Grafana implementation here to do that. It’s got some standard dashboards but customization seems to be missing.
