pulseaudio 3689 pic.c : Failed to write PIB file

Hi,

My Suse Linux server is running on suse11sp3 with eDir 8.87sp2. As it sits in a very busy VMWare host, I relocated it to another VMware host the night before.

However, when I startup the server after I successfully relocate it (have already shutdown the Suse o/s before the relocation), the following errors prompt:-

server name pulseaudio[3689]: pid.c: Failed to write PID file.
server name pulseaudio[3689]: main.c: pa_pid_file_create() failed.
server name pulseaudio[3689]: main.c: Deamon startup failed.

Then the dialog box “worker exited with status1” prompt one by one after click the ok button.

Would anyone know what’s wrong and how to fix it?

I finally found that it is related to disk full.
