Restore backup by via longhorn

Hey I am new to longhorn. I have a kubernetes cluster (3 master nodes and 2 worker nodes) in test environment. I have configured longhorn for backup so I did take backup of volume and snapshot on my nfs server.

Now I am confused in case of a total crash of my kubernetes cluster (power outage) how can i restore my kubernetes cluster?

do i need to use ETCD or what? as cluster is gone and its inaccessible…what is the best practice please guide.

IIUC, if you want to rebuild Longhorn with original Longhorn volumes, you can re-install Longhorn on new k8s cluster.

Then make the backup target as the nfs server that you original used in setting page. Therefore you can restore Longhorn volumes from the backups.
