I have app that needs whole host for it self (port conflicts) and its sidekicks. I need to know FQDN of that host for identifying that service from outside.
Could FQDN hostname be retrieved from somewhere?
This is what I was looking for 
curl -s http://rancher-metadata/2015-07-25/self/host/name
