You don’t need to do that… from the first link, just scroll down the
page to the partner use software order form. I believe that’s what you
need. However, I’m not sure, but let’s not keep cluttering up the chat
forum with the specifics on how to obtain Novell software under partner
use. Please send me an e-mail at jmarton at novell dot com and I’ll
get you in touch with the PartnerNet folks who can help you with this.

That’s very kind of you, I’ll do so.
However, the downloads seem to be present and active, it’s the license
for running own business I can’t locate.[/color]
There is no specific “different” license for that, it’s just paper.
Which makes sense, cosidering that the majority of all Novell products
(see OES or GW) are paper licensed anyways.
But it was you who falsely claimed “You are dead wrong, and have
basically just publicy admitted you’re running your business on illegal
microsoft software.” so I will need that paper to not again be accused
to “run illegal Novell software”.
I don’t understand why it seems to be a “project” to locate and present
the licenses we can use. Luckily, Joe has offered to take care of it
which I am looking forward to.
I just want to add that we moved our GroupWise from Netware to Linux in
a Windows Virtual machine five months ago. I am not very impressed with
Windows, the virtual instance for GW has crashed twice during this time
(note I didn’t say GW crashed). We will be shutting down our last two
Netware file servers to the same windows box at some point this
year…I’m stalling as long as I can.

Only windows seems to work well under Hyperv. This may not be
accidental. I take it there are political reasons why you can’t have a
non-windows virtualization server or something?
Netware and Novell were incredible back in the day. We still have a
Netware 6.0 NPS 1.02 service running our web portal. I am looking for a
modern simple Portal/CMS like Novell NPS to replace it since is not
supported by Novell (for years), but it is extremely stable. I always
treated my Netware boxes like appliances, they just worked with little
to no maintenance required. The software the came with Netware was also
top notch, and memory/CPU efficient. (netdrive, iFolder 2, NSS).
I have migrated most of my Netware servers to Linux OES but still have a
few Netware boxes. The quality of Novell products is not as high as it
was in the Netware days, from bad patches to bloaded client software,
(and PITA software audits). I find the new stuff just OK, and nothing
to sing about. (It smells like outsourcing development to the lowest
bidder, common today)
My best wishes for Novell success, I wish there was some marketing of
OES going on. And I hope they can get it to be like an appliance, like
Netware, so a Linux Guru is not the only one who can administer it.
Netware was run by a lot of not tech users, OES needs to be that simple.
