Hi,
As per the latest SAP Netweaver High Availability Cluster configuration document, we have dedicated nodes for the ASCS/ERS components. In this scenario can we combine multiple ASCS/ERS instances to one node with separate clusters?, ie can we have the ASCS instances for the ECC,CRM,BI …etc running on the same node with its own cluster configurations?

Hi Sam,

good question and I had the same idea in the past. But this is not possible you can run and configure only one pacemaker instance per host. What you can do is running multiple ASCS/ERS pairs in the same cluster. Please check this paper for more details:
