If you haven’t been reading Schlock lately, my avatar “Danita” is in mortal
peril. I’ve been a recurring character since March, but the past couple of

For those of you who don’t know about Schlock Mercenary, Howard Taylor, the
creator of Schlock was a long-time WordPerfect/Novell employee, and GroupWise
Product Manager before he decided to devote full time to the Schlock web comic!

You need to get to know artistic folks I guess! I’m surprised my character is
still around. Howard had intended to kill he off a long time ago, but I just
got “lucky” I guess and the story evolved a bit.
You know Steve, it’s been years since we’ve seen each other, and I
still can hear your voice and your laugh when I read your posts.

It has been too long. So long, in fact, that I could take your post as
my having an unforgettable voice and laugh like Phyllis Diller.
However, knowing the great guy you are, I truly appreciate the comment
as I have similar memories and am grateful we had the opportunity to get
to know each other and laugh together.
You have always been a great host and representative for both Brainshare
and SLC.
