This may be a security setting issue on my part, but if so, it’s affecting both IE and Firefox on Windows7-64, as well as Firefox and Konqueror on SLED 11SP3.
Attempts to access the SUSE Linux Enterprise Software Development Kit 11 SP3 “proceed to download” link (http://download.novell.com/protected/Export.jsp?buildid=hF8sRGTVC04~) result in a failure message indicating there is a link loop (“Cyclic Link Detected” (Konqueror message, which was the most detailed error report I’ve gotten).
Is this a transient problem, or is there something else going on?
Yes, I’m past my 60 days free trial on SLED - but I don’t think that’s involved in the issue. I"m only now returning to the evaluation I’m performing, and need the SDK to continue.
The link that you posted took me directly to the download page (after
‘Proceed to Download’, so with the real links to download stuff). It may
be your account, or maybe something else. If you have a coworker to try,
or another account (some have multiples… maybe for this purpose), try
that. I agree… probably not related to your sixty-day bit since I do
not think that should ever apply to a download.
Which exact ISO do you need?

Good luck.

Ok - thanks - I’ll try from another computer, then go ahead and activate my account (so I have an active subscription). I appreciate your letting me know it’s me and not the server.
Ok - must be a common security setting I have on my workstation browsers. Got in from a laptop (better see what it’s security settings are). Thanks again.
