Construction of the bridge began in 1357 and finished early in the 15th Century.

Yes this seems to be the thing to see, though with the warning of
pickpockets operating on the bridge. I’ve also seen suggestions
to be there at dawn and watch the sunset so that would mean
getting up early one morning. It’s about a 30 minutes walk from
the conference hotel.

With the Conference and Off-site Parties scheduled for the Tuesday and
Wednesday evenings[1] looks like we’ll be hitting the bridge on
Wednesday or Thursday morning … !
