We have monitored and found that both(prd1 and prd2) become 10 seconds slow everyday … i.e after 1 week they become complete 1 minute behind the standard time… in other words… if I configure the clock of both servers manually … i.e if they are not getting their time from any other time source, then they become almost 10 seconds behind the standard time per day.
As I have to use prd2 as an ntp server for my network… so I must need to fix to this issue asap
Your statement of ‘if they are not getting their time from any other
time source…’ makes me think you have not configured NTP (Network Time
Protocol) yet. Do this, and point to a reliable time source, and the
problem should go away. Computers all naturally drift in time, though
some more than others. NTP is designed really well to help fix that.

it means that its not the OS(SLE 11) issue, but a hardware issue, i.e if we install any other flavor of Linux on this HW we will face the same issue… right ?
so do you recommend me to open a support ticket with HW Vendor(IBM) ?
