[{“insert”:"I am looking for a way to run a Guest (W10 in this case) OS under SLED 15. I have run VMware player and VirtualBox and I’m done flip-flopping between them (caused by upgrading SLED and now the one or the other doesn’t work ).
What system is available to run in SLED 15, that when SPn comes out, will still work? And then when the follow-on to SLED 15 comes along, will still work? I do not have time to learn to program with Intel and this environment – I do this for Mainframes for my day job – I do stuff for z\/OS and z\/VM and now Linux for z (we are migrating from SLES to Red hat – Not my call, just have to live with it).
But I absolutely have to have a working windows environment so that I can run Adobe Reader (NOTHING in Linux is doing what I have to have – which is deal with forms in PDFs that I can fill out…).

[{“insert”:“Hi
I use kvm\/qemu, then can use virt-manager, virt-client. There is also gnome-boxes via Package Hub which will probably suit your needs. Good thing about these tools as part of the system, no third party modules to worry about “},{“insert”:{“emoji”:{“emojiChar”:”?”}}},{“insert”:"

[{“insert”:"Would be wonderful if one could find simple doc to get this to work. I have KVM installed. And I know how to use duckduckgo.com, but I just can’t seem to find simple how to articles for this for SLED 15. Just say’n’.

[{“insert”:"Hi
So your system has virtualization enabled in the BIOS? You can check the output from;
lscpu | grep “Virtualization:”
Then have a read here (SLES centric): “},{“attributes”:{“link”:“https:\/\/documentation.suse.com\/sles\/15-SP1\/html\/SLES-all\/book-virt.html”},“insert”:“https:\/\/documentation.suse.com\/sles\/15-SP1\/html\/SLES-all\/book-virt.html”},{“insert”:”

[{“insert”:"It is functional. VirtualBox works, except the guest tools don’t match after MONTHS of waiting Virtualbox.

[{“insert”:"I’ve just finished verifying that I have all the stuff for KVM. Now I am searching for Doc on how to migrate VBox to KVM. I’ve spent a lot of time searching for docs and I can find doc for this for everything but SLED 15.

[{“insert”:"Hi
Well VirtualBox guest tools are a different kettle of fish…
Have a look at this thread on the openSUSE Forum about this and should clarify;
