by checking /var/log/messages I found error:
CIFS VFS: Unexpected lookup error -6
Google was not helpful. Seems to be a bug on a different Distribution / different kernel but not on SLES-System.
Is this a know issue?

Whilst your subject line says “SLES 11” which Service Pack and patch
level are you using? Please post the output from “cat /etc/*release”.

/lib/modules/3.0.101-0.47.55-default/kernel/fs/cifs/cifs.ko → CIFS dont work (after updating server with SMT)
/lib/modules/3.0.101-0.47.52-default/kernel/fs/cifs/cifs.ko → CIFS was OK (before updating server with SMT)
