SLES 11: CIFS VFS: Unexpected lookup error -6 (in messages)

Hi there,

by checking /var/log/messages I found error:

CIFS VFS: Unexpected lookup error -6

Google was not helpful. Seems to be a bug on a different Distribution / different kernel but not on SLES-System.

Is this a know issue?

Best wishes

Whilst your subject line says “SLES 11” which Service Pack and patch
level are you using? Please post the output from “cat /etc/*release”.
