SLES 11 How to obtain packages required for Oracle Install

All,

I am new to SLES 11. I am utilizing 2 SLES 11 SP3 for VMWare (x86_64).

I am trying to figure out how to obtain the required rpm packages for an Oracle EBS 12.2 installation.

When I run the zypper install package_name it asks me for the disk.

How do you from the command line or yast go and obtain an rpm package, so it can download and be ready for installation?

I am new, so any good ABC blog or command line examples etc, would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

If you’re being prompted for a disk when you run “zypper install
<package_name>” that suggests the server was installed from media (which
is now not present) and hasn’t been registered with SUSE so unable to
access online repositories. Is that correct?

What does “zypper lr -u” report?
