SLES 11 SP1: kernel update for dirty cow ?

Hi,

i know that SLES 11 SP1 is old and EOL. Is there a possibility for a kernel update because of dirty cow ?
https://www.suse.com/de-de/security/cve/CVE-2016-5195.html does not say anything about SLES 11 SP1, and
in the net i also did not find anything.

Hi
Since it’s out of support, I wouldn’t think so… you would probably
need to raise an SR to get a definitive answer (May get a PTF?)…

I think it’s safe to say that with Long Term Service Pack Support
(LTSS) no longer an option for SLES11 SP1 the answer is no but
then if OP is still using SP1 they have other issues than just
Dirty COW …
