Hi
We have SAP and HANA running on SLES 15. The timezone in SAP is set to WAT.
According to the documentation the timezone in the Application and on the Database should be the same. However there is no WAT timezone to select in SLES 15. For now I selected GMT - 1 as that match the time offset. But need confirmation that this is 100% OK,as differences in the timezone on app and server might cause extra processing?

That should be fine, but would assume both systems are running ntp/chronyd and syncing to a time server?

Yes, we have NTP sync active.
Please have a look in the IANA time zone database for the correct time zone settings.
