SLES B1 HANA 11 SP4 cannot boot up on HP DL380 Gen 9

Dear All,

I want to install SLES B1 HANA custom image → www.suse.com/slesb1hana (the latest one is based on SLES11 SP4)
I’ve burn the image downloaded above link to the DVD, and try to boot up to my server HP DL380 Gen9,
I’ve tried boot using legacy & UEFI but both cannot read the CD (cannot autorun/detect the CD)
but when I’m using SLES 11 SP4 from SUSE link, it can boot up.

Is there any compatibility issue SLESB1HANA SP4 with HP DL380 Gen 9 ?
How can I boot up using that image, I need the automatic partitioning for B1 partition.

Thanks & Regards,

Hendra

From your reply to https://forums.suse.com/showthread.php?6907 it
seems you’re booting from a SP3 kISO and then wanting to install
from a SP4 DVD - the SP4 DVD doesn’t need special
kISO.

Hi Hendra,

first, you need to checkmark/select in your Burning-Application that the images is bootable,
otherwise you get only a data-media

Second, pls. use the latest version 0.0.6 (from last week) as it contains some fixes.

Third, pls. make sure you follow all steps in the two configuration guides attached at SAP-Note 1944415
