SLES11SP2 Shutdown button in Gnome doesn't work

Hi
I have installed SLES11SP2 for testing purposes in VMware Workstation 9.

But I have a problem with the GUI, it doesn’t matter if I’m logged in as
root or as a regular user.

Clicking on Computer->Shutdown brings up the Shut Down the Computer
dialog where the button Shut Down and Restart don’t do anything.

Clicking on them just closes the dialog…

Any idea what could be wrong?

Hi
If you logout to GDM (Login Screen) can you shutdown there? If you
create a test user, can the test user shutdown?

On my system here I see all buttons are active if i select shutdown.
