software repository dead for new version?

Hello:

I am trying to install some application software such as “record-desktop”, “mplay” and so on for my SLED 12 SP2 from:

https://software.opensuse.org

However, it only contains software for SLED 12 or openSUSE. There is no anything for SLED 12 SP1 or SLED 12 SP2.

I am just wondering where can I obtain more software respostitory for SLED 12 SP2?

Thx a lot

Hi
In gnome-shell all you need to do is press ctrl+alt+shift+r to start the built-in recorder, same keys to halt…

You mean mplayer (mplay?), I just use the built in media player and fluendo codecs, packages like that exisit on packman, so again you need to head there and ask if they can enable building.

Are you aware of SUSE Package Hub? https://packagehub.suse.com/

If there is something you want, jump on OBS and search for the package, then click on the package name and ask the maintainer if it can be pushed to factory, if it already is, then ask then if they can submit/maintain in Package Hub as well…

Hello,

Thanks a lot for the comments. Currently only see the repository for the SLED 12 & SP1. However, the latest 12 SP2 is not on the list…

regards

Good to hear that.

My experiences on SLED 12 SP2 is really nice. It imporved a lot. I enjoy it a lot.

I would recommend SUSE should prepare a Tips book for users, to show these extremely helpful stuff.
