SUSE 12 - Packages, SDK

Will SUES be providing a SDK like they did with 11 or are they just going to include the devel packages as standard ? - forget this one I see they added it to the downloads.

Also I noticed that several packages are missing (not available) in 12 that were in 11, i.e MySQL and PHP. Any idea if they will be added later on or is there no plans to add these packages ?

These packages would be nice to have:
Nginx
nano

Probably should start a SUSE 12 only forum.

Thanks

SDK: I assume it’s available somewhere since SUSE Studio already shows it,
and packages with -devel in their names.

PHP/MySQL: Hmmm… I do not have the SLE 12 media handy, but using
SUSE Studio I also do not see those packages. Something must be amiss…
checking.

Good luck.

YaST > Support > SUSE Customer Center Configuration, click ‘Select Extensions’ then select the SDK
Or get the iso from https://download.suse.com/Download?buildid=eHNDsyWlokA~ (for future reference, this is findable via https://download.suse.com/)

Not really. It would just create confusion. People would post in the not SUSE 12 forum about SUSE 12 and people would post in the SUSE 12 forum about versions other than 12.

You need to right modules:

https://www.suse.com/releasenotes/x86_64/SUSE-SLES/12/#Packages.Modules

To get to these modules register your server, evaluation or otherwise, and
you should get access to the modules desired.

Good luck.
