I am faced with a lack of information on the topic of testing suse linux enterprise live patching.
I need to test the operation of the service, and the application options in our company.
First I downloaded the ISO c image https://www.suse.com/download/sle-lp/ assuming that the installation will be able to install the kernel-livepatch package. But alas, the miracle did not happen.
Then I turned to the instructions https://documentation.suse.com/external-tree/en-us/suma/4.0/suse-manager/administration/live-patching-sles15.html But our company does not use SUSE Manager.
In this regard, I have a couple of questions:
- How do I install and manage the kernel-livepatch package?
- If I need to install and configure SUSE Manager, how do I start using the 60-day test periods to make a decision about purchasing software?
