Conceptual question. I am going to install to suse mgr in cloud (aws for example). As far as I read from advanced_topics_32.pdf, chapter 4 (SUSE Manager in the Public Cloud) it is possible to install Suse Mgr in cloud. I wondering how it will be possible to upgrade SuSE system (from 11 to 12 version) or do the system deploy as this functionality is strictly depended on dhcp, tftp, pxe services specially for environment with NAT (client and server in different network, network from client via NAT to public server).
Can you please explain to me or point me to the right documentation on how can I do system upgrade and deploy from SuSE Mgr in cloud.
You can do an in-place upgrade from 11 to 12 in AWS. This does not require SUSE Manager. Here is the detailed instruction:

You do not want to install SUSE Manager, rather use one of the images provided by SUSE, see [1] and [2]. Details about setup and configuration are also found in [3]. As of last week SUSE Manager 3.2 images are available in EC2 and GCE, with Azure on the way. You can use the pint [4] tool to find the latest images.

The upgrade of a SUSE Manager client system from SLES 11 to SLES 12 is the same in the Public Cloud as it is in other setups.
