how soon does the customer need the implementation? I’m asking because SUSE Manager 3 is coming next year, and the SUSECon presentations were promising.

They will purchase the product somewhere in March 2016, but based on their experience(via PoC/Demo) they will decide which product they should go with.
For Monitoring, customer is also looking towards Zabbix + Monit, but we are recommending them SUSE Manager, but frankly speaking we have no idea
how powerful SUSE Manager when comparing with other products(like Zabbix

I’ll have a look at Zabbix over the weekend, but to judge from what I know about SUSE Manager 3, that will be a very powerful tool.
