unable to boot

Hi

I am planning to create a bootable ISO image of size lesser than original one,by removing unwanted files.I mounted SLED11 SP2 and copied all contents to another directory.I removed few files which are not necessary for booting. using MKSIOFS(mkisofs -r -R -J -T -l -v -cache-inodes -o “dest path” -b “isolinu.bin path” -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -eltorito-alt-boot -b “efi path” -no-emul-boot “path of directory which contains copied files”) command created new ISO. I am trying to boot from new ISO, In UEFI shell entered

fs0: //DVD mapped to fs0 in my system
efi\boo\boot\bootx64.efi //I can see all files of EFI(initrd,elilo.conf,bootx64.efi and linux) in that fs0:

after pressing enter it should load bootloader and then OS but it’s showing “efi\boo\boot\bootx64.efi is not recognised as an external or internal command”

please help me in this regard…

thanks in advance.

Hi
Why the need for a smaller image, only have a CD rather than DVD?

You might want to look at SLE JeOS, or even creating your build on SUSE
Studio?

Can you boot the system in UEFI mode from USB? I have used dd and
copied the efi image on the iso to a USB ef00 partition and booted from
that. Then browsed to the install image to continue the install.
