Dear SUSE Experts,
I cannot ping the application server from our server, please see result:
hysolman:~ # ping hyprdapp.domain.com
PING hyprdapp (10.0.10.74) 56(84) bytes of data.
From hysolman (10.0.10.70) icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable
From hysolman (10.0.10.70) icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable
From hysolman (10.0.10.70) icmp_seq=3 Destination Host Unreachable
From hysolman (10.0.10.70) icmp_seq=4 Destination Host Unreachable
Notice that the IP address in the From row change to the IP address of server hysolman itself.
hysolman can ping itself and other servers succesfully except this one.
hysolman:~ # ping hysolman
PING hysolman (10.0.10.70) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from hysolman (10.0.10.70): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.027 ms
64 bytes from hysolman (10.0.10.70): icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.040 ms
Other servers can ping the application server OK.
Kindly assist on what can cause this? We are on SLES 12.2.
