unzip 6.0 package for SLES 11 SP1

Hi All,

Can anyone help me to get the rpm package for unzip of version 6.0(SLES 11 SP1) ? We are currently having the unzip 5.52 version installed.

have you tried rebuilding the source RPM from Opensuse? 13.1 does ship with unzip 6.something… or maybe there’s a prebuilt RPM one on software.opensuse.org?

Is there a particular reason why you’re using SLES11 SP1? SLES11 SP1 is
now not supported by SUSE with SLES11 SP3 the current release plus it
(and SLES11 SP2) include unzip 6.00.

Thank you for your reply. I was just trying to open the website - software.opensuse.org and it doesn’t seem to be opening, could you please check on it from your end.

There is no particular reason for using SLES11 SP1, it would probably get updated to SP2/SP3 but we still not have that planned yet.

I just c&p the string from your message, put it in the url line of my browser, hit enter and got the entry page of the site (after acknowledging the cookie request)…
