Upgrade to SLES 12 SP2

After upgrading SP1 → SP2:

  • sshd start failed,
  • display resolution cannot be changed in the Gnome GUI,
  • Gnome GUI failed for the root user.

All these run in SP1 (only Gnome new version is worse than in SLES 11).
I can only ask: WHY?

Step by step SLES is worse and worse. The GOLD SLES 11!

Where there any errors reported? If so, what were they?

I don’t use a GUI on servers so I’ll leave this for someone else to
comment on.

That’s not my experience and obviously SUSE don’t intend this to be the
case. Have you reported any of your problems to SUSE, perhaps by logging
support requests, or posted them here in these forums?
