After a successful upgrade from SUES 11 sp2 to sp3 (\etc\SUSE-release has patchlevel = 3) The gui login screen still states SP2. Anyway to change this to have the SP3 version ?
I know minor but it would help to know that the server was already upgraded.

Check the kernel name with uname -a it should be 3.0.76…
You can change the menu item via YaST → System → Bootloader and edit
as required.
