I am new to Linux platforms. In my current organization there is this database server(Oracle 11g) installed on Suse Enterprise Linux Server 11 Patch 1. For backup the server using Veeam the minimum requirements are SEL 11SP4. Will upgrading to SP 4 effect Oracle Database ? Kindly suggest. This is a very important server. Also please mention the Pros and Cons of upgrading from SEL 11 Patch 1( I am assuming that patch means Service Pack 1) to SP4
