I am planning buying a USB Barcode Scanner like http://www.barcodewinkel.nl/product/honeywell-eclipse-5145-usb-kit-zwart-mk5145-31a38-eu/ but wondering if it is Plug and Play with Suse.

Given that you’ve posted in a forum for hardware-related issues with
SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) by “Suse” do you mean you want to
use the barcode scanner with SLED or do you perhaps mean openSUSE?
