Hello, on our samba all of a sudden when a user logs into a machine joined to the domain with their ldap credentials the login script does not map their home directory even though it is supposed to and it used too. Also when browsing to their share through windows explorer you can see the home directory share but you cannot access it. I can access the other shares just fine. Any ideas where to start?
Anything in the logs? Can you access the shares from the server itself
using smbclient or the GUI (if available)? What has changed recently…
patches or new software or other? Are these users able to do anything
else on the Linux server (SSH, GUI login) and, if not, were they ever able
to? Which version and SP of SLES? Which version of Samba?
