Using Amazon internal DNS

Hi,

I’d like to use Amazon’s internal DNS lookup to resolve hostnames to internal IP addresses, but I can’t figure out how to configure RancherOS to use the name servers given by DHCP instead of the default ones (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4).

Any suggestions how I could do this?

This is a known issue. I’ve just submitted a pull request with the fix (yesterday): https://github.com/rancher/os/pull/669

In v0.4.2 RancherOS will be primarily using DNS servers configured by DHCP with the option to override with cloud-config.
