I just installed rancheros on my pi3 and I am surprised to not see my wlan0 card… I try to find wifi module, but I don’t see it. As I know that rancheros is a minimalist os, I wonder if wifi is integreted to the kernel. But On a pi3, it could be very interesting to have it, on my point of view.
I hadn’t actually considered the use case of WiFi on a Raspberry Pi. I think this is a good argument for including the modules by default. There’s currently an open issue for this.
