Ugh, over 15" of snow at my house, and still coming down at over an
inch per hour, plus the wind’s been blowing at a steady clip. Over 30
minutes to clear off enough of my driveway just to get the truck out,
and I think we missed out on the worst of this storm… :-\

Sounds like fun! I like snow. Where are you located? We’re
supposed to hit 72 deg and lots of rain today.
No snow here, but we expect to get the back end of one coming from
the west, mixed with the warm flow from the south will make for some
interesting weather tomorrow night and into Thursday morning…

So my response to KeN’s comment is…
I am in northeast Wyoming, a couple hours west of the black hills. I
guess they’re getting hit pretty hard as well as south of us, clear
down towards Denver.
malcolmlewis sounds like they ‘said’:

Yikes, have fun with that. Still snowin like crazy here. Already had
at least one dept close for the day, we might get sent home if the wind
picks up much.
All the snow. Wyoming would get more than we do here in Indiana.[/color]
So my response to KeN’s comment is…
Not so much this part of the state. Pretty flat and dry here. Any
snow we do get is usually gone fairly quickly, either due to melting or
blowing away.
Sounds like here in Colorado. I wonder how much the Goddess Danita has
received
Nancy dropped her car keys in the snow last night and can’t find them.
I get to look today
I’ve also noticed that nine light poles have been knocked down this
storm. Blinding snow, icy roads, going down hill and going to fast.
Happens every year, but I’ve never seen nine of them taken out in one
storm.
ID 10 T’s driving SUV with summer tires thinking they can drive like
the commercials or professional ice drivers.
Oh… most of the people here get to telecommute for work. I don’t
because I might have to fix their computers. Uh… they gonna pay me
to go to their house? No

So my response to Sewermonger’s comment is…
Ugh, we got 7-8 more inches Sunday night/Monday morning, and they’re
talking more snow yet tomorrow…sigh. Then, supposedly,
into the 60’s & 70’s starting Thursday, so we’ll see.
On a good note, it’s been reported the snow packs up here are almost up
to normal, so I guess all this snow this month has been a good thing,
at least in the mountains.
In the 60’s here today. As someone who grew up in midwest snow storms,
and wasn’t terribly fond of them, my heart goes out to you. Hope it
isn’t too slick. I always hated it when it became snow over ice. : )

So my response to Susan’s comment is…
Ugh, I’m so ready for spring. I think it’s snowed more here in the
last 3 weeks than it did the previous 3 months…
The closer it gets to June, the better the weather should be! These
last throes can be very discouraging, but spring and summer will
eventually come : )

Oh no doubt there. I figure here it will go from 30’s & snowing to
summer in about a week.
