12.2 - KDE 4.9 upgrade from 3.5.1 - still booting with 3.5.1

I upgraded from KDE 3.5.1 to 4.9, but after my re-boot, KDE 3.5.1 is still booting.

How do I configure the KDE environment to use the 4.9 version upgrade?

Your subject title says “12.2”. Since SLED hasn’t reached that high a version number yet and the current version of openSUSE is 12.2, I think you want the openSUSE forums, not these forums.
