I want to know is the kernal changed in RancherOS or it is standard linux kernal?
Each release of RancherOS uses the Ubuntu kernel that’s latest at the time. We add a few patches relating to storage on top of the Ubuntu kernel. The patches for the latest RancherOS kernel can be found here. If you have any specific questions relating to those patches, @yasker is the person to talk to.
We’re considering switching from the Ubuntu kernel to using upstream releases.
