It looked like these micro distros, with just enough OS to run a docker container was going to pick up steam. But CoreOS appears dead, and RancherOS doesn’t seem to have the momentum I would have expected. Are there any micro distros for docker and Kubernetes that are getting the market share?
I would say if you want to use a ‘micro’ version of kubernetes , try K3S. K3s: Lightweight Kubernetes

Take a look at k3os. It’s the same idea as RancherOS but built on k3s and containerd with the OS being defined as YAML.
