Asus Laptop Wireless

I have installed SUSE 13.2 on my laptop. Unfortunately I cannot turn on the wireless network (have searched forums and realize I don’t see the radio symbol).

I have tried to turn it on with the F2 button in all variation with shift, alt, ctrl, fn… nothing.

I know wireless works because I reboot to Windows 10 and there is no issue.

I do see the card AR9485 when I go into YAST - it says “not connected”

Any suggestion on how to turn wireless on?

“SUSE 13.2” would seem to suggest that you’re using openSUSE 13.2 -
there is currently no version 13 of SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED).

If this is the case (the output of “cat /etc/*release” should confirm)
then you should repost your issue in the openSUSE Forums @
https://forums.opensuse.org/ - the Wireless sub-forum there would seem
appropriate.

Just a reflection of how ignorant I am and what a journey I have ahead. Thanks for the advice!

No problem, everyone has to start their journey at the beginning.
